Have your audio content distributed widely online in three easy steps:
An RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feed allows you to share your audio with major podcast platforms.
By turning on your RSS Feed, you can submit any audio recordings hosted on Mixlr to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Youtube and other podcast directories.
Enable your RSS podcast feed
Head to your RSS Feed settings on Mixlr and toggle the RSS feed option to On.
Select Save changes and you will see confirmation that your ‘RSS Feed is currently ON’
Add audio to your RSS podcast feed
You can add new recordings to your podcast feed when you're uploading them, as well as updating existing cloud recordings so they will be included.
Adding a new cloud recording
Whether you're uploading a broadcast recording or an external recording, you'll have the option to select Add recording to RSS feed.
Select Automatically add upload recordings to RSS feed in your RSS feed settings to have this box already checked when you upload a new recording.
Updating an existing cloud recording
To update existing cloud recordings, visit your Recordings page on the web, which can be accessed directly from your Creators desktop app.
In the Creators mobile app, these are found under Recordings > Cloud recordings.
On your Recordings page, click on the three dots of your chosen recording and select Edit from the dropdown menu.
On the edit screen, add a check next to Add recording to RSS feed.
Save changes.
Your recording's access level needs to be set to either Public or Unlisted to be added to your RSS feed.
Submit your RSS podcast feed
Now that your RSS feed has been enabled and your selected audio recordings have been added to your feed, you are ready to submit your RSS feed so that people can listen to you on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Youtube and more.
First, a unique URL link is needed to share the audio recordings you have hosted on Mixlr across to your preferred podcast platforms.
You can find this link in your RSS feed settings.
Select the Copy icon to copy the link.
You'll paste this link when submitting your RSS feed as prompted by the various podcast platforms.
