In this article we'll show you how easy it is to start sharing your audio across major podcast platforms.

First, you’ll need to enable your RSS feed and then, add audio to your RSS feed.

Once that's done, you're ready to submit your RSS feed to Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Youtube.

Be sure to use the same email address linked to your Mixlr for Creators account when creating an account with Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Youtube Studio and more.

This will help avoid any upload errors when submitting your RSS feed.

Spotify

If you don’t have an account with Spotify yet, you’ll need to create one to log in to Spotify for Podcasters.

To get started after logging in, click ‘I already have a podcast,’ then paste the link to your RSS feed when prompted.

Apple Podcasts

If you don’t have an Apple ID, you’ll need to create one to log in to Apple Podcasts Connect.

Youtube

Audio-first creators can use YouTube Studio to upload podcasts to Youtube via an RSS feed.

After logging in to a YouTube Studio account, click ‘Create’ in the top-right hand corner and choose ‘New podcast’ from the drop-down menu. Then, select ‘Submit RSS feed’

Youtube will create a video for each audio recording uploaded.

However, unlike other podcast directories, Youtube will not automatically update with each new audio uploaded to your RSS feed. Follow Youtube’s steps to connecting your RSS feed to upload your audio content to the video platform.
