Recordings of your live broadcasts can be saved locally on your device as well as uploaded to the cloud so you can make manage them online.
This article will show you how to upload your broadcast recordings:
You'll need to subscribe to a Mixlr plan to upload your recordings to the cloud.
Find saved recording
If you have recordings enabled, your broadcast events will be saved as audio files to a local folder. There are two ways to find these locally saved recordings:
After a live event, or
Via the Recordings tab
After a live event
Immediately after closing a live event, a screen will confirm the live event has ended. Select View saved recording.
Via the Recordings tab
You can also find your saved recordings via the Recordings tab at any time.
From the desktop or mobile app's task bar, select the Recordings tab > select Local recordings.
Select upload arrow
Your saved recordings will be listed in your Recordings window. Find the recording you want to upload > select the upload arrow icon.
Uploaded recordings are displayed in green. To delete a recently uploaded file from your local folders, select the trash icon.
Save to complete upload
While your audio file is being uploaded, you can also edit its title, description, access level, podcast (RSS) feed setting or artwork.
Hit Save once you're happy with the recording details, and to complete the upload.
Important: If you don’t select Save, the file may appear as an incomplete recording on your dashboard’s Recordings page, and it won’t appear on your channel.
Now that you have uploaded your recordings, learn how to present them as Collections on your channel.
