This article will explain where to find the recording (REC) button, and how to turn this feature on or off.
To get started, visit your audio settings to view your recordings settings.
Audio settings
From the Mixlr app, select the mixer icon from the Creators dashboard or broadcast screen to access your audio settings.
This will pull up your audio settings window.
REC button
The recording settings (REC) button indicates whether your live event will be recorded or not.
If the button is red or green, the recording function is enabled and will record your live event.
If this has been switched to gray, recording is inactive and your live event will not be recorded.
Turn Recordings on
To enable Recordings:
On Mac/Windows: click on the REC button until it is red
On iOS/Android: toggle the Enable Recordings on
Turn Recordings off
To disable Recordings:
On Mac/Windows: click on the REC button until it is grey
On iOS/Android: toggle the Enable Recordings off
Tip: You might want to turn Recordings off if you do not want to take up storage space on your device.
Next, find where your local recording is saved so that you can upload it to your channel.
