Sometimes after uploading a recording of your live event you may wish to download and edit the recording, to cut extraneous content from the beginning or end, to remove any dead air, or to process the audio file in another way.
Alternatively, if you have uploaded an external recording, you might realize that you’ve added the wrong audio file and you need to change it.
This article will show you how to upload a new audio file for an existing recording.
Recordings page
To update a recording, go to your Recordings page by selecting the Recordings icon on your Creator dashboard.
You can also visit your Recordings page directly from this link.
Select a recording
On the Recordings page, select the ‘...’ icon on the recording you want to change to bring up the menu options.
When the menu options appear, select ‘Edit’.
Edit recording
On the Edit recording screen, scroll down the page and select ‘Change audio file’.
TIP: you can also change the title, description, access level and artwork from this page.
On the next screen you will be able to add your new audio file.
You can drag and drop your recording, or select the red button to find an audio file on your machine.
Once you select your audio file the upload will begin automatically.
TIP: to cancel the upload, select the red ‘X’ icon.
When the upload is complete the file will be transcoded.
Once transcoding is complete the new audio file will be available on your channel for your listeners (or stored out of sight if you've made it private).
Now that you can update your existing recordings, find out how to upload your external recordings.
