Change your audio collection from public to unlisted

Share curated audio recordings with your preferred audience

Updated this week

You can create collections of public or unlisted recordings, which you can then share publicly or as exclusive audience content.

This article will explain how to change the access level of your collections to Unlisted so you can share your curated audio recordings with your preferred audience.

If you haven't organized your audio into collections yet, learn how to create a collection here.

Set your collection to unlisted

  1. From your Creators dashboard, head to your Collections page:

On mobile: select the Recordings tab on the bottom right > Cloud recordings > Collections tab

On desktop: select the Recordings tab from the taskbar > Cloud recordings > Collections tab

On the web: select the Recordings icon on the top right> Cloud recordings > Collections tab

  2. Select the collection(s) you want to make private by adding a tick ✔️ next to it

  3. Select the Move button, and from the dropdown menu that appears, choose Unlisted

It's also possible to edit an individual Collection's details and change the access level, as well as other information such as title, artwork, and more.

You can make your collections publicly available again by following the steps above and moving them back to Public.

Share your unlisted collection

  2. Select the Unlisted tab to view all your unlisted collections and select the collection you want to share

  3. From the collection's page, select the share icon (or social media icons) to share the link directly with your chosen audience

Access levels explained

There are two access level settings for collections:

  • Public collections are accessible on your channel

  • Unlisted collections do not appear on your channel's main page or recordings page; however, you can share the URL for an unlisted collection directly with your chosen audience

This table explains how your recordings will appear within your public or unlisted collections, depending on their access levels.
