If your channel has varied content, such as sports coverage across divisions, interviews alongside live commentary, or daily shows by different hosts, you should group similar recordings as a collection on your channel.
This article will show you how to sort your similar content into collections.
If you don't have any recordings, start with recording your live event.
Your Recordings page
From your Creators dashboard, head to your Recordings page:
On mobile: select the Recordings tab on the bottom right > Cloud recordings > you'll see your Recordings page
On desktop: select the Recordings tab from the taskbar > Cloud recordings > you'll be taken directly to your Recordings page
On the web: select the Recordings icon in the top right > you'll be taken directly to your Recordings page
Choose the recordings you want to compile into a collection by adding a tick ✔️ to the selected recording(s)
Create a new collection
After selecting your recording(s), return to the top of your Recordings page > select the +Collection button > select +Add collection
You will see a New collection page where you can add the following:
Title (required)
Description
Access level (see this article for more information about access levels)
Artwork
Select Create collection to add the selected recording(s) to your newly created collection
It's also possible to create a new collection before adding any recordings. To do this, return to your Recordings page, select the Collections tab, and select Add collection.
Add recordings to an existing collection
Select your recording(s) from your Recordings page, then select the +Collection button
Your existing collections will appear as options in the dropdown menu
Select the collection to add your recording(s) to — you’ll see confirmation that it has been assigned to a collection
You can also edit an individual recording's details to move it to one or more existing collections.
