Your desktop app broadcast recordings will be saved in a default location if you have never changed it. If you would prefer to set your own custom storage location, this article will walk you through how to update this.

Desktop app

To set a new location, open the desktop app and select the Window tab, then select Preferences. (On Mac, this can be found under the Mixlr tab.)

Preferences window

This will open the Preferences window.

Scroll down to the bottom of the window and you’ll find the Recording Location section. This current location will be indicated in the field. Select ‘Browse’ to select a new recording location.

This will open an explorer window. Navigate to the new location, and once inside that folder select ‘Select folder’.

You’ll now see the new location selected in the Preferences window.
