How to interpret the numbers you see during your live event

Updated this week

Your Channel will display the number of listeners tuned in during your live event.

Here’s a breakdown of how to interpret the numbers you see during your broadcast.

On the left-hand side of your live event’s chat window, you’ll see the usernames of listeners tuned into your broadcast.

If you notice that the total listener count is higher than the number shown in the Chat window, this is because some listeners:

  • Are not logged in to a Mixlr account, or;

  • They are listening to your event through an external webpage via your Mixlr player or your Live Stream URL

Learn how to hide your Live Listener count, available with our Premium Plus and Pro plans.

After your live event, you will also receive a post-broadcast stats email with more listener data. For more comprehensive stats, Creators on Pro or Enterprise plans can visit the Stats Dashboard.
