Your recordings can either be saved on your device (a local recording) or uploaded online (a cloud recording).
This article will show you how to upload your local recordings to the cloud.
Uploading your recordings to the cloud will free up local disk space and also make your recordings accessible to listeners on your channel.
Open your Recordings window
When you stop and then close your event, if you have been recording it you'll see this screen:
Select View saved recording to see your recording.
Alternatively, you can go to your recordings at any time by selecting the Recordings tab.
On mobile, you'll have the option to view Cloud or Local recordings after selecting the Recordings tab.
Upload your recording
Your events will be recorded to a local folder on your device. You can upload these recordings to your channel by selecting the upload button.
If you are using older versions of the Creators app, your original audio file may be deleted after it is uploaded from your computer or mobile device. You can always download the recording again from your Creator space.
Before the recording is uploaded to the cloud, you'll get a chance to edit the recording's title, description, access level, RSS feed setting and artwork.
Hit Save once you're happy with the recording details.
Now that you have uploaded a recording, find out how to download it to your computer or mobile device.
FAQs
FAQs
Why can't I seem to upload my audio recording from the desktop app?
If you have an issue uploading a recording on the desktop app it may be because the original file has been moved, edited or renamed. If any change has been made to the recording on your local drive you won't be able to publish it to your channel.
