Does chatting and hearting affect the live audio?

Chat messages, hearts and other social interaction use a minuscule amount of bandwidth compared to the live audio.
 
They are also handled on completely separate Mixlr servers.
 
So don't worry - you can chat and heart as much as you want, without affecting the experience for other Mixlr users.
