We recommend trying these troubleshooting steps if you are encountering issues with your live stream event:
Check your network connection
Is your internet connection solid and stable? Is anyone else using the same network connection as you while you're broadcasting, or are you running any other apps which might be draining your bandwidth? If you answered yes to any of these, try switching networks or quitting any apps that could be taking up your bandwidth. See this article for more.
Check your firewall settings
Your firewall may be blocking your connection to Mixlr. If you think this is the issue, whitelist '*.mixlr.com' to allow all the URLs which we need to get through. The ports that need to be opened are ports 80 and 443. If you’ve already disabled your firewall, see this article for more.
Check the version of your Mixlr Creators app
You might be using an older, unsupported version of the Mixlr desktop or mobile app. You can update your software to the latest version of the Mixlr Creators app here.
If you’re still unable to go live, please report it here.
We maintain 24/7 monitoring of all processes and servers and have preventative measures to avoid downtime.
If downtime occurs, you will see updates posted on MixlrStatus and our engineers will work rapidly to resolve the issue.
