In this article we're going to show you how to block and unblock someone from your Mixlr channel. When someone is blocked they are still able to listen to your show and will appear in your community list, but they won't be able to comment on your live events.

From a live event

You can block a user on a live event on your channel by clicking on their username in the chat.

This will bring up a profile window for the listener. Click 'Block' to ban them from commenting on your channel.

If a listener has already been blocked, you can unblock them by following these same steps - the 'Block' button will have changed to an 'Unblock' button.

TIP: you can follow the same steps to block and unblock a user from the Mixlr Creator apps.

From your Settings pages

You can also block listeners, and manage your list of blocked listeners, from the Creators Settings pages.

Go to your Creators Settings, then select Blocked users to see a list of any currently blocked listeners. You can unblock any blocked user by selecting ‘Unblock’.

TIP: you can go straight to your Blocked Users page by clicking this link.

You can also block anyone who is following you from your Followers page (and unblock anyone who is currently blocked).
