In order to go live with Mixlr you will need to download one of our creator apps. This article walks you through how to download and install our desktop app for Mac and Windows users, or the mobile app for iOS and Android.

TIP: it's necessary to be be logged in to a Mixlr account with an active Creator plan in order to download the app.
Desktop App
Download the Mixlr for Creators desktop app here.
Scroll down and choose Windows or Mac depending on what kind of computer you're using, and the download will start.
Once the download is complete, open the installer file from your downloaded items.
On Windows a pop up box will ask if you want to allow the Mixlr broadcast app to make changes to your computer. Click Yes and the installation will begin.
On Mac, the installer will look like this:

Follow the installer's instructions to complete the installation.
On Windows machines you will be asked to restart your computer once the installation is complete.
Android App
You can download the Android Mixlr for Creators app here, or by searching for Mixlr for Creators in the Google Play Store.
iOS App
You can download the iOS Mixlr for Creators app here, or by searching for Mixlr for Creators in the App store.

Currently Mixlr is not compatible on Linux.

Can I download the Mixlr app for Chromebook?
The Mixlr desktop app is not currently compatible with Chromebooks since Chromebooks only run the Chrome browser, and it is not possible to broadcast via a browser. However it is possible to listen via a web browser on a Chromebook.
