Schedule pre-recorded audio to stream automatically

Automated events let you schedule pre-recorded audio to go live on your Mixlr channel at a set time. Listeners can tune in, chat, and heart together — just like a live broadcast — without you needing to be at your computer.

Schedule an existing recording or collection

If you've already uploaded recordings to Mixlr, you can schedule them directly from your Recording Library or Collections page.

1. Go to your Recording Library: https://creators.mixlr.com/recordings or Collections page: https://creators.mixlr.com/collections

2. Select the recording or collection you want to schedule.

3. Select Schedule this recording to go live at a specific time (or Schedule this collection to go live at a specific time).

4. Set the date and time for the event to start, and review the event details.

5. Select Schedule event.

Schedule a new audio file

If you want to upload a new file and schedule it in one step, you can do this from the sidebar on your Creators dashboard: Automation > Automated Event or Live Events > Schedule Event. 

From the Automation section

1. Go to your Creators dashboard: https://creators.mixlr.com/ and select Automation from the sidebar, or go directly to creators.mixlr.com/events/new/scheduled-recording.

2. Select Automated event.

3. Select an audio file to upload.

4. Add your event details and schedule a start time.

5. Select Schedule event.

6. Select Schedule from your Creators dashboard.

7. Select Select a file to go live at a specific time.

8. Choose an audio file to upload.

9. Add your event details and schedule a start time.

10. Select Schedule event.
