Replace the audio file for a cloud recording
Swap out the audio file for a recording already on your Mixlr channel without losing its details or settings.
If you need to update the audio for a recording that's already in the cloud — for example, you edited it externally and want to upload the improved version, or you uploaded the wrong file — you can replace it from the Creators dashboard on the web.
Note: Replacing a cloud recording's audio file is only available from the Creators dashboard on the web. To edit a recording before uploading it, see Edit a recording in Mixlr Studio.
Replace the audio file
1. Go to https://creators.mixlr.com/ and select Recordings from the left-hand navigation.
2. Find the recording you want to update and select the three-dot menu (⋮).
3. Select Edit to open the Edit recording screen.
4. Scroll down and select Change audio file.
5. Drag and drop your new audio file onto the upload area, or select the button to browse your files.
6. The upload will begin automatically. Once complete, the file will be transcoded and your updated recording will be available on your channel.
Tip: You can update the recording's title, description, or access level from the same Edit recording screen at the same time.
