Promote your events
Share your upcoming Mixlr events with your audience from the Creators dashboard, Mixlr Studio, or Mixlr for Creators.
Once you've scheduled an event on Mixlr, you'll have a unique event page link you can share anywhere — on social media, your website, in a newsletter, or directly with your listeners. The sooner you share it, the more time your audience has to mark their calendars and tune in.
Tip: You'll need a scheduled event before you can share it. See Schedule a live event.
From the Creators dashboard (web)
1. Go to https://creators.mixlr.com/
2. In the Upcoming events panel on your dashboard, select View all. Alternatively, go to Live Events > Manage events in the navigation.
3. Select the event you want to promote to open the event details page.
4. In the Share event panel you'll find several ways to share your event:
• Copy the link — select the copy icon next to the event URL to copy it to your clipboard, then paste it wherever you'd like to share it
• Share to Facebook or X — select the Facebook or X button to open a pre-filled post in that social network
Tip: Before sharing, select Preview social image to see how your event artwork will appear when the link is posted on social media.
Note: If you don't have any scheduled events, the Upcoming events panel won't be visible on your dashboard. Schedule an event first to get started.
From Mixlr Studio or Mixlr for Creators
You can share your event link directly from within the app, before or during a broadcast.
1. Open the event selector:
• Mixlr Studio: select the event picker icon (calendar with arrows) to open the Upcoming events panel
• Mixlr for Creators: tap the Choose event dropdown from the broadcast screen
2. Select the event you want to share from the list.
3. Select the share icon to copy or share the event link.
When to promote
Sharing your event link in advance — rather than just when you go live — gives your listeners time to plan. Aim to share it at least a day or two before the broadcast and again shortly before you go live as a reminder.
