Schedule a live event on Mixlr
Create a scheduled event on Mixlr to promote your upcoming broadcast to your listeners.
Scheduling an event in advance lets you share it with your audience before you go live — on social media, your website, or anywhere else. It also means your event details like title, artwork, category, and description are ready to go when broadcast time arrives, so you can focus on your content.
Schedule a new event
1. Go to your Creators dashboard: https://creators.mixlr.com/ and select Schedule from the navigation.
2. Fill in the event form with your event details:
Title — the name of your event, as it will appear on your event page
Date and time — when your broadcast starts and ends
Description — tell your listeners what the event is about
Artwork — an image to represent your event (recommended: square, at least 1000×1000px)
⚡ On selected paid plans, you can also set: • Category — choose the genre or topic that best describes your event • Access level — Public (visible to everyone), Unlisted (those with the link only), or Only me (private) • Whether chat is enabled • Whether hearting is enabled • Whether the live listener count is visible See our plans
3. Choose an access level for your event:
Public — visible to everyone on Mixlr and in search results
Unlisted — accessible to anyone with the link, but not listed publicly
Only me — private; only you can see it
Tip: If you want your event to be available only to specific listeners, set it to Unlisted and share the link directly with your audience.
4. Select Schedule event to save.
After scheduling
Once your event is saved, you'll be taken to the event details page. Here you'll find the public link for your event — copy it and share it with your listeners so they can tune in when you go live.
Need to make changes? You can update the title, time, artwork, or description at any time before the event starts. See: Edit a scheduled event.
Going live with a scheduled event
When it's time to broadcast, open Mixlr Studio or Mixlr for Creators and start your broadcast as normal. Your scheduled event will be matched automatically, or you can select it from your upcoming events list within the app.
