How to customize your Mixlr channel
Customise your Mixlr channel's branding, appearance, and settings from your Creators dashboard.
Your Mixlr channel customization is spread across three areas in your Creators dashboard — branding, sharing, and channel page. Each controls a different aspect of how your channel looks and is found by your audience.
Branding settings
Go to creators.mixlr.com/settings/branding/edit to manage your core channel branding.
Channel name
The public-facing name shown on your Mixlr channel page. Choose something that clearly reflects your content or organisation.
Channel description
This text appears in the About section of your channel page. Describe what you broadcast, who you are, and when you typically go live.
Theme color
Your theme color is used for buttons, links, borders, and certain background elements across your channel page and embed players.
1. In your branding settings, click the color swatch next to Theme color.
2. Choose a color using the picker, or type your brand’s hex code directly (e.g. #000000).
3. Click Save to apply.
Brand logo
Your logo is displayed on your channel page alongside your channel artwork. If you manage multiple Mixlr channels, using a different logo for each one helps your team — and your audience — distinguish between them.
Channel artwork
Your channel artwork is your default image, used across your channel page, events, recordings, and collections whenever no specific image has been set for that content. Upload this early so nothing appears blank while you’re getting set up.
Recommended image size: 1024 x 1024 pixels for all artwork.

Setting images on individual content
Your channel artwork is the default everywhere, but you can override it for individual events, recordings, and collections:
• Live events: Add or update the event image when scheduling, from your broadcast screen before going live, or mid-broadcast. Select Edit event to make changes.
• Recordings: Update the image before saving to the cloud, or afterwards by editing the saved recordings here: https://creators.mixlr.com/recordings
• Collections: Set artwork for each collection when creating or editing it. See the create collections of uploaded recordings article for more information.
Sharing on Social media
Go to creators.mixlr.com/settings/sharing/edit to control how your content looks when shared on social media.
Here you can choose the visual style for the preview card that appears when someone shares a link to your channel or content on platforms like Facebook, X (Twitter), or WhatsApp. Keeping this consistent with your channel branding makes your content instantly recognizable when it appears in someone’s feed.
Channel page settings
Go to creators.mixlr.com/settings/channel-page/edit to manage your channel URL, social links, and donation button.
Channel URL
Your channel URL is the web address your listeners use to find you — for example, yourname.mixlr.com.
Tip: Keep your channel URL and channel name similar. A consistent name and URL makes it easier for your audience to find and remember you.
Add your own website and social links
Add links to your website, social media profiles, or any other external pages. These appear as clickable buttons in the About section of your channel page, so listeners can find you across platforms.
Donation button
⚡ Only available on selected paid plans. See our plans
Add a donation button to your channel page so listeners can contribute financially. Connect your payment service in these settings to activate it. For a full guide, see Add a support button to your channel.
Profile picture
Your profile picture is separate from your channel branding — it’s attached to your admin account and appears when you chat with listeners or visit other creators’ channels. Update it at https://creators.mixlr.com/profile/edit.
