If you want your channel to stay on air around the clock without running continuous live events from your computer, you can use the automatic fallback feature.
Alternatively, enabling this feature will ensure that your channel is still broadcasting audio in the event of any technical issues at your studio that can't be addressed immediately.
This article will show you how to set up your automatic fallback stream.
This feature is available on selected paid plans.
Enable fallback
Fallback can be accessed via the Automation section of the sidebar at the creators site, or by selecting this link.
Switch the toggle from Off to On
Select a collection
Choose chat and heart preferences
Select Save settings
Once it is enabled, your fallback will be broadcasting on your channel whenever you are not on air with a live or automated event. When a live or automated event ends, the fallback will restart immediately.
You will need a collection of audio recordings to add as your fallback. If you don’t have an existing collection, you’ll be prompted to create one before enabling this setting.
Change fallback collection
To select a different collection:
Go to your Fallback page
Select a new collection from the dropdown menu (or add a new collection)
Select Save & restart
Next, learn how to schedule an event so it starts automatically.
