Hide the number of live listeners

Hide the live listener count from your event page and embed player for individual events or as your default.

By default, your live events display a live listener count showing how many people are currently tuned in. You can hide this from your listeners for any individual event, or set it as your default so it's hidden on every event.

⚡ Only available on selected paid plans. See our plans

Note: Your embed player (Live Player) uses the same setting as your live event. Hiding the count on your event page will also hide it from the embed player.

Hide the listener count when scheduling an event

When filling in the schedule event form: https://creators.mixlr.com/events/new find the Event options section. Uncheck Show live listener count to hide it. The count is displayed when checked, and hidden when unchecked.

You can also set this as your default for all future events from Creators dashboard > Settings > Live events.: https://creators.mixlr.com/settings/live-events/edit See: Set your default event settings. for further information.

Hide the listener count from the broadcast screen

From your broadcast screen, select Edit to open the Edit event form. In the Event options section, uncheck Show live listener count, then select Save.

You can do this before you go live or while you're already broadcasting. Changes take effect immediately.

Note: Even when the listener count is hidden from your listeners, you can still see it yourself in whichever app you're using to broadcast.
