Edit your live event settings
Update your event title, artwork, and settings from the Mixlr broadcast screen before or during a live broadcast.
You can edit your live event settings from the broadcast screen at any time — just before you go live or while you're mid-broadcast. Any changes you make take effect immediately and are reflected on your event page straight away.
How to access event settings
Edit. This opens the Edit event form where you can update your event details.
Event details
These settings are available on all plans.
• Title — update the name of your event
• Description — update the description shown on your event page
• Artwork — upload a new image for this specific event. Your channel artwork is used by default.

These settings are available on selected paid plans.
Category
Change the genre or topic for this event.
Access level
Choose who can see your event:
• Public — visible to everyone on Mixlr and in search results
• Unlisted — accessible to anyone with the link, but not listed publicly
• Only me — private; only you can see it
Chat options
Control what your listeners can do during this event:
• Chat — turn listener chat on or off
• Hearts — enable or disable listeners sending hearts
• Live listener count — show or hide the number of listeners currently tuned in
Saving your changes
Save. If you're already live, your changes will appear on your channel immediately.
Tip: To avoid editing these settings every time you go live, set your preferred defaults in Set your default event settings.
