Block and unblock listeners from chatting on your live events

Prevent a listener from posting in your event chat, and manage your blocked users list.

If a listener is posting unwanted comments or spam in your chat, you can block them from commenting on your events. Blocked listeners can still tune in and listen, but they won't be able to post in chat. You can unblock them at any time.

Block a listener from the chat

This works the same way in Mixlr Studio, Mixlr for Creators, and on your live event page in a browser.

1. In the chat, select the username of the listener you want to block.

2. Select Block from their profile.

To unblock them, follow the same steps — the button will show Unblock instead of Block.

Manage blocked listeners from your settings

You can view and manage all blocked listeners from your Creators settings. Go to Settings > Blocked users: https://mixlr.com/settings/blocked_users Select Unblock next to any listener to remove the block.

You can also block or unblock listeners from your Followers page: https://creators.mixlr.com/followers/edit — useful for managing someone who follows you but hasn't commented yet.
