I’ve requested a beta redeem code, what do I need to do?

Firstly you will need to install Testflight on your iPhone or iPad.  This is an official app from Apple which is used to manage the installation of software that is not yet available on the App Store.

You can download this by searching the app store or clicking on this link.


Once installed you will need to open the app and sign-in with your Apple ID.  (This does not need to be the same email address that you have registered with us at Mixlr.) Once you are signed in to Testflight  you will see an empty screen under apps (unless you happen to be testing some other apps at the same time).


You should have also received an email from Apple with your redeem link.  It’s easiest to open the email on your phone.  To redeem the app from your email, press the “view in Testflight” button in your email.


You will then be directed back to Testflight and you will be asked to install the Mixlr Broadcaster app.

To complete the install process for the Mixlr Broadcaster app press the “install” button. You can now close Testflight.

As we add more features to the app, an update will be delivered to you through Testflight.  If you have notifications on for Testflight, a banner will inform you of a new update. You just need to open the app and press “update” to install any updates.  

Running the broadcaster for the first time

Your Mixlr Broadcasting app should be accessible from your home screen.  You can open this up, just like any other app on your phone.  The app will have a small orange dot next to the name of the app - this is just to indicate that the app has been installed by Testflight.

You must enter your email address and password to  log in to the app and begin broadcasting.  You must have a paid subscription or an active trial to broadcast with this app.  If you do not have one, you will need to purchase a subscription or contact support@mixlr.com.
